Long Sunday lunch

We push the tables together in the back room and cook a whole lamb from Stevns slowly over the embers all morning.

It comes to the table on boards with potatoes from the ashes, bitter leaves and a jug of lamb gravy, followed by cheese and a cardamom cake. Wine is by the bottle, and nobody is in a hurry to leave.

How it works

Sixteen seats at one long table, so you may end up next to someone new. Lunch starts at 12:30 and usually ends somewhere around five.
